Frequently Asked Questions

Why can't I log in to Loqui.tv?

First check that your computer is online. Try to open a browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google chrome, Safari etc). If your browser does not open then you are not online. Seek help from your internet service provider or network administrator.

If your computer is online then go to www.loqui.tv and click on 'Sign in' at top right of the page. You will be prompted for a user name and a password. These must be registered first by the Loqui administrator for your organisation. Check with your Loqui administrator that your user name and password are registered.

If your computer is online, you have a valid user name and password but you still can't open Loqui.tv, then please contact us giving your name and details of your school or organisation.

How do I subscribe to Loqui.tv?

The annual subscription to Loqui.tv is through a user licence purchased by a school or a group of schools in a network. The licence specifies the number of users in the organisation. Each user must be registered by the organisation’s Loqui administrator with a valid user name and password.

Can an individual person subscribe to Loqui.tv?

No. Loqui.tv is designed to be used by colleagues working together in a school or across a group of schools.

What happens if I move to another school?

Please contact us to tell us when you are moving. Loqui will arrange for your professional learning journal to be transferred to your new school when you move.

If your new school does not subscribe to Loqui.tv then you can still retain your user name and password if you subscribe as an individual. This option is only open to people who have previously been registered as a Loqui user by a school or organisation.

I am a consultant; can I use Loqui.tv when I work with schools?

Yes, as long as each school you work with has a subscription.

Is there a user's guide to Loqui.tv?

Yes, the user's guide is in three parts: Essential Loqui, Loqui Admin and Advanced Loqui. Each part is a separate programme listed on the Programmes page. Everyone should watch Essential Loqui and complete the activity in Episode 3 before using Loqui.tv.

May I download videos from Loqui.tv?

No. All videos on Loqui.tv are subject to copyright restrictions. However, you may view the videos at any time and as frequently as you wish as long as you are a registered user.

Can I contact any of the presenters on Loqui.tv?

Yes, we encourage you to ask questions or make comments in the discussion groups. If you wish to contact a presenter then do so through the discussion group. Our presenters will check the discussions regularly and respond to your questions and comments.

Are there any more programmes planned for Loqui.tv?

Yes, we are continuously working on our programme content. New programmes will be added to keep the content fresh and up-to-date. If you have any requests for us to make a programme about an issue that affects your work, then please contact us and let us know. We will do our best to respond to your professional learning needs.

I am a presenter; how do I make a programme for Loqui.tv?

Please contact us. We are looking for new presenters and we would be delighted to discuss your ideas for making a programme on Loqui.tv.

Our school/organisation has its own training programmes; may we add them to Loqui.tv?

Yes. Loqui will create a restricted section of the website that may only be viewed by registered users at your school/organisation.
